Hi, My name is Dannie Skog. I am currently a student at Worcester State University majoring in both Elementary Education and Psychology. As my college career is coming to an end my course load and responsibilities are becoming more demanding; leaving me with less time to devote to my horse. I have decided it would be best for both me and my horse if I put her up for sale. This way I can further dedicate myself to my studies and she can move to a home that has the time time to dedicate to her. Impulsive Rita, barn name Sidney, is my 7 year old Quarter Horse. She is AQHA registered and NSBA futurity. She is a beautiful & unique liver chestnut with a star & snip. Coming to the end of my college career, I am now in a position in my life where I cant fully devote my time to her. Therefore I have made the decision to find her a new, loving home. Price maybe negotiable to the right home. I originally purchased her from Potts Performance Horses, with the intent of showing her at local shows. I began to show her at SNEHA and then moved on to the Quarter Horse Circuit. She has had lots of show experience in the past, loads easily & is comfortable in new environments. She enjoys being bathed, stands quietly for her farrier, body clips, but does not particularly like her ears clipped. She has excellent ground manners, as she was trained & shown in showmanship. I have shown her WT because I was not ready to commit to WTC. I do however ride her WTC at home, & have even taken her over small cross rails, which she was confident over. I have trails behind the barn I board her at, where she has been up steep hills, over bridges, and through water. However, I believe with an owner with the time to devote to her she would be ready for almost any discipline in no time. She tends to bond with her primary rider, but can be ridden by others. She has been turned out with other horses in the past but she is also quiet comfortable on her own.
