90+ days groundwork and 30+ rides, started with the Natural Horsemanship Method. He moves out well but is NOT broke. No buck as of yet and he has a calm mindset. With work he would make a great kids horse, bomb proof potential. Very willing to please and eager to learn. He gives to pressure and is starting to move off of leg queues, still a two handed horse. He would be better suited by himself but he gets along wonderfully with other horses, he is the underdog here. He was gathered and gelded at a young age and has been domestic since 6 months old. He is a very well put together horse and has nice hard feet. He stands well for baths and for his feet to be done (has never had shoes). Loads in the trailer nice and willingly, this guy is difficult to spook. His stop is coming along as well as his pivots and side passes. He gives to pressure and know how to flex. This guy will mind your space when you ask but will be right in your pocket if you allow it, he is very friendly and doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He's been exposed to traffic, dirt bikes/ATV's, gun shots, dogs and much more. He will chase dogs out of his pen but doesn't mind them while he's being worked/ridden. He's been through water (hesitant), crossed deadfall and bridges with no issues. He is a very trusting horse and will do anything you ask, as long as you ask the question the right way. I've crawled under him, over him, between his legs and slid off his rump and this horse doesn't mind a thing. We hate to see him go, but we are looking for a ready-to-ride beginner horse and I don't have the time to finish this guy with my work schedule. TO A GOOD HOME ONLY! I put down Chestnut for his color but we aren't sure what he's going to be. Each season he sheds out a different color. He's been sorrel, roan and chestnut. One half of his face is grey, and the other is brown. Right now he appears to be shedding out Chestnut/Roan. He's a very dark/rich color.
